Exodus chapter 14. Exodus chapter 14. Might pray also for some of those kids that we pick up on Wednesday nights that God will help give them a burden in their parents to get them here on Sundays as well. I did have, I've had one of the kids asked me a couple weeks now if we would if we pick up kids on Sundays and I told them we would if they want to come just to let us know. So, pray for pray for them.

That's particularly Fernando and Esteban and Marlena and Gaelle. There's four kids from one family. And Marlene has been asking. So, pray the Lord will soften the heart of her her mom and dad to let them come on Sundays as well. So, verses up on the screen are Exodus chapter 14 verses thirteen and fourteen and Moses said unto the people, fear you not.

Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord which he will show to you today. For the Egyptians whom you have seen today, you shall see them again no more forever. The Lord shall fight for you and you shall hold your peace. Let's go to the Lord in prayer. Dear heavenly father, thank you Lord for recording this, preserving it for us so that we might see your mighty works, your mighty hand, working in behalf of your children.

To fight for them, to deliver them. Lord, you fought for us on the cross of Calvary. You gave your life for us. You have delivered us. Who have received you as the Lord and savior of our lives.

From the penalty and power of sin. Pray Lord that we might live for you to this day that we might recognize what you have done for us and what you are doing and will do for us as we learn to yield ourselves and trust in our Lord. We thank you again for for this wonderful time that we can be reminded of what you did for them and Lord, what you have done, are doing, and will do for those who are your children today. Amen. God wasn't finished yet with the Egyptians.

Last week, we studied the Passover. The week before Moses and the and the plagues, we didn't really look individually at the plagues but of how God fought for his children to deliver them from Egypt and at the end of chapter 13, that's what they did. The Egyptians and Pharaoh said, get out. We don't want you here anymore. Here, we'll give you whatever you want.

Just leave and so they spoiled so to speak the Egyptians and they left and they left Egypt. They were leaving Egypt behind them. However, that's not the end of the story of the Exodus of Israel from the land of Egypt. God had one more mighty act to perform before they were free altogether from the threat of the Egyptians. It seemed as though they had made a clean getaway but God knew better.

He knew that the Egyptians would continue to be a threat to them unless God destroyed Pharaoh's army. So, God had a plan. You know, sometimes we think the same thing. We think, oh, I got it licked this time. Don't trust in the flesh, trust in the Lord.

He is able to deliver you but we must learn to trust in him and to continue to look to him for victory because it is he who gives us the victory. It is not the arm of the flesh. They thought, okay, this is we're leaving this. It's all done. God knew better and God had a plan.

So, sometimes when you do, we get thinking, oh, we've got it licked and then we don't have it licked and we think, oh, I thought this was passed. Don't panic. Don't despair. Trust in the Lord. The Lord has a plan.

The Lord is still with you. He will not abandon you. He will not forsake you. Trust in the Lord. God always has a plan even though we can't see or understand it.

Understand it. And it doesn't mean because we can't understand it sometimes that God has been outwitted or left us in the lurch. Just because you don't see what God is doing doesn't mean that God is not working, does it? Children of Israel were crying out in Egypt for God to deliver them and God was working on it. God had a plan.

His plan was Moses. Where was Moses? Moses was in the palace for forty years of the enemy. But God had a plan and he was what? He was working on it.

The next forty years, God Moses spent in the backside of the desert as a what? As a shepherd but God had a plan and he was what? He was working on it, okay? So, God has a plan. If you'll trust him, commit thy way unto the Lord and he shall bring it to what?

Pass. And he is and he will. God's plan was not concocted on the spur of the moment as sometimes our plans are or in reaction to the decisions of pharaoh. No, God was working all along to bring all this to a crescendo and a big finale in the story of Israel's exodus for his glory and to remove Egypt as a threat to them forever. So, we start our story today trapped.

That's my first point here, trapped. That's where Israel was. Well, they were free. They, Pharaoh just kicked them out and the people said, here take our stuff, Get out. They were free and then just a few moments later, a few days later, all of a sudden, they were what?

They were trapped. Okay, look if you would in verse chapter 14 verse one. And the Lord spake unto Moses saying, speak unto the children of Israel that they turn and encamp before Pi Hahiroth between Migdal and the sea over against Baal Zephon before it shall you encamp by the sea. Now, are all places in Egypt. We're not sure where all of these places were.

The term Migdal just means tower. So, it could have been the name of a city or a particular tower in Egypt. Baal Zephon means Baal of Winter. It it's one of their false gods but these were names of places and God directed Moses to lead them into this particular spot. Verse three, for Pharaoh will say, of the children of Israel, they are entangled in the land, the wilderness hath shut them in and I will harden Pharaoh's heart that he shall follow after them and I will be honored upon Pharaoh and upon all his hosts and the Egyptians may know that I am the Lord and they did so and it was told the king of Egypt that the people fled in the heart of Pharaoh and his servants was turned against the people and they said, why have we done this that we have let Israel go from serving us?

And he made ready his chariot and he took his people with him and he took 600 chosen chariots of all the chariots of Egypt and captains over every one of them and the Lord hardened the heart of Pharaoh, king of Egypt and he pursued after the children of Israel and the children of Israel went out with an high hand but the Egyptians pursued after them. All the horses and chariots of Pharaoh and the horsemen and his army overtook them encamping by the sea beside Pi Hahiroth from Baal Zephon. And when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes and behold the Egyptians marched after them and they were sore afraid. That means, they were panicked. They were terrified.

That's what that means. So afraid and the children of Israel cried out unto the Lord and they said unto Moses, because there were no graves in Egypt, hast thou taken us away to die in the wilderness. Wherefore hast thou dealt thus with this to carry us forth out of Egypt. Is not this the word that we did tell thee in Egypt saying, let us alone that we may serve the Egyptians for it had been better for us to serve the Egyptians than that we should die in the wilderness. What a change.

Just just just a day before that, they were praising the Lord and praising Moses and and leaving Egypt triumphantly. Now, a day later, what are they doing? They're in, they're terrified, they're in despair, they're griping, they're complaining, they're turning on Moses and saying, why did you bring us out here to kill us in the desert? We'd have been better off serving the Egyptians. How fickle we as human beings are.

One moment, praising God, the next moment, complaining and griping, not trusting in him. As we should before we get so aggravated and angry with the Israelites. It might behoove us to also consider ourselves. That's right. Because we sometimes have a short memory as well.

We forget what God has done for us. We forget what others have done for us and we quickly turn on a dime especially when we are what? When we are afraid. Fear is one of the tactics that the devil uses. To destroy the testimony of God's children, to destroy their joy, to keep them from serving the Lord.

We must not allow fear to destroy us. We do not need to. We do not have to. The Lord is with us. Amen.

Sometimes, we may feel trapped. They felt trapped but did that mean that God was not with them? No. Does that mean that God who had delivered them by those 10 plagues in Egypt was not with them? No.

He was still with them. God is the one who maneuvered Israel by the use of a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night To this point in Israel, look if you would in chapter in Egypt. Chapter 13 verses 20 to 22 and they took their journey from Succoth and encamped in Ethan in the edge of the wilderness and the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of cloud and led them the way by night and the pillar of fire to give them light to go by day and night. He took not away the pillar of cloud by day nor the pillar of fire by night from before his people. So, first of all, who was it that led them here?

It was God who led them here, okay? Second of all, it was God who told Moses to lead them there. We read that in the first part of chapter 14. It was God who instructed Moses to maneuver them here. Today, God most often uses his spirit and his word though at times he does use others also to direct us in our path in life and if God is directing us, do we need to be afraid?

The answer is no. Is God going to direct us the wrong direction? No. Trust the Lord with all thine heart, lean not into thine own understanding, all the ways acknowledge him and he shall what? Direct thy paths or make thy paths straight.

In other words, he will direct you and he isn't going to direct you the wrong way. God used a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night for the Israelites. He uses his word and his spirit primarily and my life and yours today. He directs in different ways but if we're tender and yielded to the Lord, if we really want to know where God wants us to go. If we ask we shall what receive.

And he will guide us. I was in high school and I was trying to decide where to go to college. I ended up at a place called Bob Jones University. It's where my son David is right now as well. No college is perfect by the way.

So, Bob Jones isn't either but it was where God wanted me. About six months before six months to a year before I was going to head off to college, we had some missionaries stay in our home. They were, their last name was the Hannah's. Last name, Hannah's. They are still missionaries in Taiwan.

If you might think of them, pray for them. The situation in Taiwan is is not headed in a good direction in regards to China. But they stayed in our home. After we built an addition onto our home when my brother was, I was about 12, he was about two, we had more room in our house, and so my parents from time to time would have missionaries stay with us when we had missions conference. And so, I got to know the Hanna's.

They were both graduates of Bob Jones. I also, at the time, wanted to go into physics. I loved science, I loved physics. I had surrendered a year before that in camp to go into full time ministry and so I was struggling. One of me wanted to do one thing and one of me wanted to do another.

Guess what? Bob Jones had both. I went there originally as a physics major, had a good physics program, but also of course they had theology and bible. So I ended up switching after two years and could stay right where I was. Now who knew that?

God knew that. And God used other people, and of course his word and his spirit in my life, to direct me the place I needed to be at the time I needed to be. And though, particularly my first two years at Bob Jones were a little bit of a battle for me. God knew what he was doing and he still does. You might think that after all that had transpired with Pharaoh that Pharaoh would think twice about going after the Israelites, wouldn't you?

You know, don't you remember your firstborn that died? Don't you remember all the water that turned to blood in your land? Don't you remember how all the cattle died? Don't you remember the the flies and the lice and the frogs and the hailstones that destroyed all your crops and ruined your homes and don't you remember all that? But Pharaoh just couldn't help himself.

He just couldn't help himself. Reminds me of Satan. It is clear in Matthew four at the temptation of Christ that the devil can read what? The devil can read scripture. He quoted it.

He misapplied it but he quoted it to Christ. He has the ability to read and know scripture. He has the ability to read and know Isaiah 53 that gives us play by play God's plan for Jesus Christ, the servant when he would come, that he would come, they would bore, have a humble birth, that he would be despised by men, that he would be crucified, that he would would bear the price for our sins on the cross, that he was life would be prolonged, that he would rise again from the dead. But in regards to the Messiah, the devil just couldn't help himself. Who was it that entered into Judas to betray Christ?

It was Satan. He just couldn't help himself. And it will lead eventually to his ultimate end and demise. We can already see the prophecies of God coming to bear in the world in which we live today. Inventions of technologies that are already available and being used for similar purposes as the mark of the beast.

No, they are not the mark of the beast, okay? Don't don't quote me. He said this or that, but no. But they are being used for some of the same ends. Making it nearly impossible to hide or work or buy without whatever your card or your mark or your chip.

They don't chip a lot of people yet, but they chip animals and I think sometimes they offer that to parents of newborns. We saw over the past couple of years how a little fear, just a little fear, can cause people to give up so much of their liberty in a heartbeat for a sense of false security. How easily humanity can be duped and manipulated. We see this coming to fruition in Revelation at the time of the tribulation, With the mark of the beast and all that goes along with it. It is telling us of Satan's last move on this Earth.

To take it over. And Christ triumphant victory over him. Yet, Satan cannot help himself and what God has spelled out for us in his word is going to happen just like he says and Satan will be defeated. Satan is hard at work trying to bring his kingdom to this Earth and yet falling right into the hands of almighty God. Yes, there is still time for revival and we must continue to look for it and to pray for it and believe in the salvation of lost souls.

God is patient. God is holding back because he's not willing that any should want. Perish but that all should come to repentance. So, we need to keep praying. But the stage is being set.

God will be glorified once again. His kingdom will be established. The enemy vanquished. His people protected and exalted once again. Such is the situation in Exodus and you're scratching.

It doesn't look that good. It won't look that good during the tribulation either. But it will end well. Because God always protects, provides, exalts his own with himself. He is the almighty God.

He is the all loving God. He is the trustworthy God. So, such is the situation in Exodus. Pharaoh sees his chance to regain his glory and he mounts out an all attack all out attack on Israel. So, Israel is now trapped, it would seem.

Again, God's will and his direction. Do not jump to conclusions when it seems you find yourself between a rock and a hard place that God made a terrible mistake or that you made him a terrible mistake or you wouldn't be here because sometimes between a rock and a hard place is exactly where God wants you to be because it's between the rock and the hard place that we do what? That we learn. It's between a rock and a hard place that God has our attention. It's between a rock and a hard place that God can demonstrate his power in our life.

Amen. And we give him all the glory. No, it may not be a mistake at all. Maybe it's part of God's plan. Israel needed another example.

They needed to be rid of Egypt once and for all. So, God made it happen. It was scary but in the end, he was glorified and they were free. They were free. Reminds me of Mark chapter four.

Jesus told his disciples to get on a boat and go across Sea Of Galilee. Well, they did this all the time. But every now and then, these big storms come through there, rip through there, and Galilee is is not real big. It's actually more of a lake than a sea but it's pretty deep and when the winds blow across through the gaps in the mountains that surround the Sea Of Galilee, it can whip that sea up and those fishing boats were not big like you think they were. Fishing boats were not much wider or if any than this aisle and those fishing boats were no longer at best than these pews.

So, we're not talking about a huge boat and this boat had 12 disciples and Jesus on it. So, it's weighed down in the water. They're trying to cross the sea at night and here comes this huge storm. They're trying to bail water out of the boat because the boat is getting lower and lower and lower in the water and the waves are coming over and what's Jesus doing? He's sleeping.

Is Jesus afraid? No. Was it because he didn't know what was going on? No. He just wasn't afraid because he knew that that ship wasn't going down with Jesus on it.

His disciples, however, they were panicked and they woke him up and they shook him and said, do something. We're going to perish and so he sat up and He said, peace be still and just like that, all the waves stopped, all the wind stopped, and they're sitting there plastered water in the middle of the Sea Of Galilee. And he looked at them and said, oh you of little what? Oh you of little faith. Did you think the boat was going down with me on it?

Did you really? And the Bible says, they were amazed that even the winds and the sea obey him. Their faith was strengthened. Their faith was strengthened and sometimes things get scary and we think, oh no, the boat's going down. No, it's not.

It's not. God's with you. It's not going down. Trust him. Learn, grow.

Sometimes, life can be a little crazy and a little scary. Things happen due to living in a sin cursed world that legitimately can make us afraid. Sickness, failure, confusion, threats of personal harm, insults, danger, criminal activity are all examples of things which do happen to people, both unbelievers and yes, sometimes believers. But as a believer, you're not what? You're not alone.

You're not alone. In this case, God maneuvered Israel into a circumstance in which they were terrified and for good reason, at least humanly speaking. They were no match for Pharaoh's army, and there was nowhere for them to run. Now, that's the definition of between a rock and a hard place. But who was there fighting for them?

What happened to that pillar of fire by night? It went in between the armies of Pharaoh and the Israelites to protect them. While God was going to do something to deliver them. God can help you through whatever it is. Even if it in part is actually your fault.

Sometimes we get ourselves in the messes we need to be honest when we do we need to be willing to confess when we're the one. Who made the wrong decision. But if you will confess it, he will cleanse, forgive, and cleanse you from all unrighteousness. If you will trust him, he will make a way of what? A way of escape that you will be able to bear it.

Well, Israel, the people did not have this peace and they did not have this trust as they should have. They often like us had very short memories which fear erased in a heartbeat. So, they blame Moses. They lashed out in fear. This is not the right way to deal with difficult circumstances.

It's the human way but it's not the right way. We have to learn. Praise God. We have a patient and merciful God. Amen.

He was patient with Israel and he's patient with us. Remember the love of the Lord. Remember his power. Remember his track record. His grace is what?

Sufficient. His will is good and acceptable and perfect. They should have believed. They should have prayed in faith rather than crying out in anger. That's what they should have done and that's what we should do but praise the Lord again for his mercy and grace and he did deliver them.

Look, if you would in verse 13 and Moses said unto the people, fear you not. Stand, see, still, and see the salvation of the Lord which he will show you to you today for the Egyptians whom you have seen today, you shall see them again no more forever. The Lord shall fight for you and you shall hold your peace and the Lord said unto Moses, wherefore criest thou unto me? Speak unto the children of Israel that they go forward. But lift thou up thy rod and stretch out thine hand over the sea and divide it and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea and behold, I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians and they shall follow them and I will get me honor upon Pharaoh and upon all the host, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen, and the Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord, when I have gotten me honor upon Pharaoh, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen, and the angel of God which went before the camp of Israel removed and went behind them and the pillar of cloud went before their face and stood behind them and it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel and it was a cloud and darkness to them, the Egyptians, but it was light by night to those, to the Israelites, so that one came not near the other all night.

And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea. So, we'll stop there for a moment. First of all, we see trapped. They're trapped but next, we see God's answer. God's plan revealed.

Now, God didn't reveal his plan earlier, did he? No, he said just what? Follow me and that's what we need to do. God doesn't always reveal his plan way in advance. God's will is often more like a slideshow than it is like a movie film strip.

You sit down and God says, click. Here's the next frame. Now, go do that. Okay. What do we want?

No, we want the film strip that shows us from the beginning to the to the end. God says, no click next frame. Now, you do this and you learn to what? You learn to trust me. You learn to trust me.

So now, the Lord answers their prayers. He reveals his plan. Moses challenged them to stop their mouths and watch for the salvation, the deliverance, the display of God's power and wisdom. In their behalf. They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength.

They shall mount up with wings as eagles. They shall run and not be weary. They shall walk and not faint. Wait on the Lord. Don't panic.

Don't be terrified. Wait on the Lord. Call unto me and I will answer thee and show thee great and mighty things which thou knowest not. Moses told the people, stop. Just hush.

Watch. Watch. Wait and watch. And see. God always keeps his promises.

Thankfully, our God again is patient and merciful. He did not destroy them for their faithful faithlessness but instead he performed a mighty act again to strengthen it. Moses being the leader God had called and trained for this moment did not despair but trusted the Lord as he should have. Compelled the people to do the same. The people's memory was what?

Short. When they were felt trapped, they forgot what God had done. Was Moses memory so short? No. It wasn't so short.

Why? Well, because God had been training him. Eighty years, God had been training him for this moment and Moses was the leader that day that Israel needed. He was the example that Israel needed. He demonstrated the faith that Israel needed.

As a child of God, it is our responsibility before the lost and before the carnal and before the babe in Christ who is weak in the faith to boldly stand up in the faith and say, I believe. I trust in the Lord. Do not doubt. Do not despair. Watch for the salvation of the Lord.

God is counting on us to be salt and to be light in this world. To take a stand for Christ and to say, I believe. Whether they believe or not. To say, I believe when things are going badly and not just things are going well. Moses stood up and he said, hush.

Wait. Watch. See the salvation of the Lord. Sadly, sometimes, we seem to cower before the trials and fears of life just as the Israelites did. How ashamed we should be for our lack of courage and faith.

Be a Moses. Don't be part of the crowd. Be a Moses. Take a stand. So, the Lord told Moses next to lift up his rod, to trust the Lord, and to move what?

And to move forward. There's a time to wait and there's a time to watch and there's a time to go in the power of the Lord. When God says it's time to go, we need to learn again to trust him and to go. When God told Moses to go, the waters were still there. The enemy was still hot on their heels but God told Moses, get your staff ready.

It's time to what? It's time to go. And as Moses did that very thing, God moved between the people of Israel and the armies of Pharaoh. And he protected his people and he gave them time to get across the Red Sea. The Lord is good and a protector, a mighty fortress as David said to all those who put their trust in him.

That brings us to the deliverance, the salvation of the Lord. Point number three, look if you would in verse 21 and Moses stretched out his hand over the sea and the Lord calls the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night and made the sea dry land and the waters were divided and the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand and on their left and the Egyptians pursued and went in after them into the midst of the sea, even all Pharaoh's horses, his chariots, and his horsemen and I'm scratching my head thinking, Pharaoh, what is wrong with you? Anyway, but he did. He pursued right after and it came to fast verse 24 that in the morning watched the Lord looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of cloud and troubled the host of the Egyptians and took off their chariot wheels that they drave them heavily so that the Egyptians said, let us flee from the face of Israel for the Lord fighteth for them against the Egyptians.

They should have known that ahead of time. They had seen it again and again and again but no, into the into the sea they went and Israel got across and the Egyptians what? Didn't. Verse 26, and the Lord said unto Moses, stretch out thine hand over the sea that the waters may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, upon all their horsemen, and Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea and the seed returned to his strength when the morning appeared and the Egyptians fled against it and the Lord overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea and the waters returned and covered the chariots and the horsemen and all the hosts of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them. There remained not so much as one of them.

Not one of Pharaoh's army that pursued them. But the children of Israel walked upon dry land in the midst of the sea. The waters were a wall unto them on their right hand and on their left. Thus, the Lord saved Israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians and Israel saw the Egyptians dead upon the seashore and Israel saw that great work which the Lord did upon the Egyptians and the people feared who? They feared the Lord.

There's a proper kind of fear and there's a proper person to fear. It's not the armies of Egypt. It's not the world around us. The beginning of wisdom and knowledge is what? The fear of the Lord.

Not a fear that drives you away from him but a fear that drives you what? To him. That is the right kind of fear. The people feared the Lord and believed the Lord and his servant Moses, Moses. So, we see the salvation of the Lord.

As Moses lifted his rod up, the waters divided and they walked across. That must have been exhilarating and still a bit scary as the Israel's walk Israelites walk between the walls of water to the other side. God didn't say following him would not be scary. That he said he will be what? With us.

It will be exhilarating. It will be rewarding and it will be full of joy when you get to the one. The other side. When you get to the other side of that trial, it'll all be one, Worth it. When we get to the shores of heaven, it'll all be what?

Worth it. It will be worth it all when we see Jesus. The when the Egyptians ventured in, it didn't go so well for them. God calls their chariot wheels to fall off. God drowned them in the waters and in E and indeed Israel would never need fear the armies of Egypt ever again.

If you'll trust the Lord, if you'll do it his way, he's going to take care of you. He's going to take care of your enemies. He's going to give you victory over sin. But we have to learn to what? Trust him and follow him.

There's a way that seems right unto a man but the end thereof are the ways of death. We get ourselves in trouble when we think we're smarter than God or when we think, oh, oh no, I'm in this terrible position. I'm just going to throw up my hands and quit. That's the devil talking. That's not God talking.

How overjoyed they must have been when they got to the other side. How foolish they must have felt for doubting the Lord. Exodus chapter 15 is a song they sang and for the sake of time, we don't read it today but you can. But I do want to sing a verse and a course of a song. Was on a record I had growing up by the cathedral quartet.

So I'm going to attempt it without music Southern gospel sounds better with music by the way. And I haven't heard or sung this song in years but it goes something like this. It's called God Delivers Again. It starts standing there at the Red Sea. God's people begin to complain.

Soon pharaoh and his mighty army will take us to bondage again stand still and see the salvation of the Lord oh Moses cried then God parted the waters and they crossed to the other side God delivers again my God delivers again when it seems that all is lost he reaches down his hand then all the forces of evil have to flee at his command just when things look hopeless, my God delivers again. So, when things seem a bit hopeless remember my God delivers again. I hope we will recognize his hand in our lives. He will not abandon us he will fight for us he will deliver us from judgment. He will part the water so we can get to the other side.

He will destroy and vanquish the enemy. Oh you, oh me of little faith. Stop complaining. Stop doubting. Remember the Lord.

He will do it. Again, let's pray. Dear heavenly father, we thank you Lord for your word. We thank you Lord for the story, a true story of God's deliverance and mighty power. In his behalf of his children.

Lord, we are your children too. If we have received Jesus Christ as our Lord and savior. Lord, remind us of who you are, of what you've done, of what you've done for us, and what you're doing for us, as you intercede in our behalf in heaven. As you prepare a place for us, that you keep your promises, that you will not abandon us or leave us hopeless. Lord, you're with us.

You do have a plan. Lord, help us to trust you. Lord, help us to confess when we've messed up and then look to you for the help of a merciful and loving God who is there to help us when we call. Lord, we pray if there's one here today that's never called on you to be the Lord and savior of their life. We pray that they would come.

We plead with them. Lord, there's no better place to be in this world, in this life, in the hands of the Lord who gave his self for us and Lord, we pray they come as we give this hymn of invitation. That you work in our hearts and lives. Help us, Lord. Give us greater faith and trust in you.
